1. Inputs & Units Depth–Velocity Hazard

Use model results (e.g. HEC‑RAS, 2D model or your channel tool) to get water depth and velocity at the roadway. This tool converts units, computes depth–velocity indicators and provides an indicative hazard rating for different road users.
Internally the tool converts to SI for depth–velocity product; you can work in either unit system.
Choose whether you know V directly or need to estimate it from Q, width and depth.
